2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Brings Refreshed Style to Burlington

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class arrives at Mercedes-Benz of Burlington with a mid-cycle refresh that’s surprisingly deep. What results is a class of luxury models that offer new style — and substance — to demanding luxury car shoppers.

    2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class New Features

Why “class”? Because there are four different variations on the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class: a coupe, cabriolet, sedan, and wagon, each with new exterior and interior styling, some of it borrowed from the Mercedes-AMG® line.

The changes are more than skin deep. The old V6 engine is replaced by a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine that improves turbocharger performance and low-end torque thanks to EQ Boost 48V mild hybrid technology.

The class gets bigger this year with two new Mercedes-Benz models taking their place in the lineup. After proving itself overseas, the Mercedes-Benz 350e plug-in hybrid comes to America. It’s joined by the Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain wagon.

    2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Interior

The interior’s changes are exemplified by a new steering wheel, of all things. That’s because there’s a new Active Steering Assist feature installed. The MBUX infotainment system, already a feature in other models, debuts in the Mercedes-Benz E-Class this year with enhanced voice recognition. 12.3-inch instrument and infotainment displays, which had been an optional feature, are standard now, the better to take advantage of Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and Augmented Video navigation.

    2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Safety Features

The roster of available driver assist aids is long. It includes the previously-mentioned Active Steering Assist feature, plus limited autonomous driving capability via Active Stop-and-Go Assist, AEB with collision avoidance, and adaptive cruise control.
